Tails of the latest rescue missions K9 RED & Karlene has explored together.
Missing for a whole week, we went in on Tuesday morning to help search for this beautiful Ginger boy.
K9 Red quickly indicated that Owen had jumped over the wall into the neighboring complex. We did gain access into the complex and on the other side of that exact same boundary wall K9 Red confirmed again that Owen had jumped over. Unfortunately we weren’t given access to search the properties inside the complex so we couldn’t check all the yards.
Alas… Owen’s dad got his hands dirty and followed our advice and around 2:30am Owen came home (a week past his curfew). Other than a few scratches and starving, Owen is doing just fine.
This gorgeous girl got herself into a pickle when the resident bully cat scared her off. She had recently moved in with her new mom and there is a feisty ginger boy on the same property that thinks he is the boss &; K9 Red tracked April just a few houses away, but she was hiding so well and despite laying various scent tails, April was too frightened to come back home. We even contemplated sending the ginger to a cattery for a few days to give April a chance to come home.
Her mom was adamant, but unfortunately had to go out of town for work so she could not continue to search for April. Over the Easter weekend her mom returned home and on Easter Sunday April came home, she was hiding under a car on the property (3 weeks after being missing)!
Her mom will catify her home and April will be an indoor only cat from now on, this way the ginger boy can't scare her off again.
April was very skinny and the vet gave her an injection for pain and inflammation, but she is doing well and happy to be home.
This beautiful Ginger boy went missing and within 24hrs we went out to help search for him.
When we got there K9 Red picked up his scent immediately and within minutes he took us to an abandoned house across from the complex where Jeffrey lives. Unfortunately we couldn't gain access as no one was living there.
Later that afternoon Jeffrey's mom managed to gain access and with some coaching she found this naughty ginger on the abandoned property where K9 Red indicated at.
It was just in time that we found Jeffrey, because he has to go for his vet check and all necessary shots this morning in order to emigrate to his other mom overseas.
